马来西亚的私立教育机构提供从学前至高等教育，并依据其学术水平被分为以下两大类型：

• 私立教育学府(PEIs) -提供学前、小学及中学教育, 学府类型包括国际及外侨学校。

• 私立高等教育学府(PHEIs) -提供高等教育课程，并颁发证书、文凭、专业、学士、硕士及博士学位资格。

Private-funded Educational Institutions

Private education in Malaysia is grouped into 2 categories, depending on the levels of education offered:

Private Educational Institutions (PEIs) provide education at pre-school, primary and secondary level. They comprise private

schools and foreign system schools.

Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs) provide tertiary education, at the end of which certificate, diploma and degree qualifications will be awarded.
